1. Install Pillar in open trench and level up pillar. Install Earth electrode
  before backfilling. You may wish to fill with concrete between feet of pillar.

  2. Backfill outside of metal skirt. Inside backfill with clean soil or sand.
  Level with outside ground level.

  3. Further fill, inside of skirt to above 50mm depth with a dry / wet mortar
  mix, in order to exclude rodents, surface water etc.
